Please be patient as this page takes awhile to load.... Thank-you Grandma and Grandpa were married April 25,1936. They eloped to West Virginia. Grandma returned home with her parents and grandpa went back to live with Uncle George and Aunt Edna. Once grandma graduated from High School, they made the announcement that they were married. They moved out on their own. They lived in Massillon, Ohio. Mom (Dianna), was born September 18, 1937) and Uncle Dan was born September 3, 1941. Grandma and Grandpa moved to Florida in January 1962. They had lived in the same home since 1965. This house has seen much remodeling. It started as a single wide mobile home and as the years went by, grandpa added a few additions. Even though their house changed over the years, there was always love to be found within. They were actively involved in many lodges. They loved to dance, grandma even took Country Line dancing lessons. She made her own outfits. They also loved to travel. Their greatest adventure is when they drove from West Palm Beach, Fl. to Anchorage, Alaska. Lady, grandpa's Siberian Husky, traveled with them from 1982-1996. The slide show consists of pictures from their 60th anniversary, which they celebrated Arpil 25, 1996. They renewed their wedding vows in the church. This was how grandpa wanted to celebrate. He was teary eyed while saying his vows and grandma kept the stiff upper lip. They had a wonderful reception at the West Palm Beach Shrine Club.
