About 6-9 months ago, I started planning my vacation.
I have talked to Bill, Laura, Belva, & Martha online for awhile and decided to head west to meet them!
I'm sure glad I did! What blessings they all are to me!

My vacation started on October 12, 2002
I drove the Florida Turnpike north to I75 and then caught I10 west.
At exit 56 on I10, I got to meet a friend that I've talked to for about 4 years online! He was stationed in Kuwait when we first started chatting! He is now stationed at Ft. Walton near Pensacola, FL. We had dinner at Applebee's, had a great time, but wish it didn't have to end so quick!

On to Texas.....
I10 west took me right into Texas where I followed directions that Ricky sent me. Ricky & Laura live in a little town about 50 miles north of Houston, called Willis.

It was chilly out thar in Texas! In the 50-60's!
I packed shorts and t-shirts.... ha! Had to go to Wal-mart my first night out there! I get cold if it's under 70! ;-)
It decided to rain everyday my 2nd week out there!
Gloomy, wet, cold...... ugh! but I had a great time anyways!

Neesie is one of my dogs that I left out there with them!
She'll have a great home with lots of lovin!
But I'll sure miss her alot!

Martha & her hubby, James, live in a 5th wheeler!
I drove north of Ft. Worth to meet up with them!
There was no way I was gonna go clear out to
Texas and not go see them!
They are into making some really neat jewelry.
Hopefully they'll travel my way one of these days!

Shelton & I have been chatting online and on the phone for about 4 years. He's from Virginia but is living out in Texas right now. I drove to Gainesville, FL. about 5 weeks ago and met him . When I started to plan my Texas trip, I didn't know that he only lived about 30 minutes south of Laura & Ricky. It was an added blessing that he was able to spend a whole weekend with me having some fun!
We spent the weekend at the Riverwalk & the Alamo!
Had a great time!!

The main reason I went, was to meet some very special people!
