Miller's AussJo Tigger
Tigger is a Blue Merle. He was only 1 month when this pic was
taken. He's George's brother. I'll use him for breeding with Aussie.
His ears are a little big and he has no tail...but he has beautiful
blue eyes & he'll make a great frisbee dog!! His personality is
great! He gets along with the other dogs fine. He fit right into our
family. 11/99
This is the day we went and got Tigger.
George went with us to get his brother.
George is owned by my boss's son.

My lovable Tigger.....5/24/00
Tigger went on vacation with me to Texas & New Mexico...

Tigger's PEDIGREE
Tigger has sired many puppies and they've been beautiful!
As of 6/2003, Tigger will no longer be used for breeding.
Tigger has Distichiasis & a Luxating Patella in the left.
He was diagnosed with Choroidal Hypoplasia by THREE opthamologists.
At the 1st exam, Dr. Gibson called in another opthamologist in
the office, who confirmed Dr. Gibson's findings.
CERF exam 6/10/2003
CERF exam 6/27/2003
Choroidal Hypoplasia is very difficult to determine in merles.
Grade 1 - Choroidal hypoplasia is the most common and
mildest form of C.E.A., distinguished by an area, or areas,
lacking in pigment on the choroid layer at the back of the eye.
It does not affect the vision and is not progressive.
UPDATE: 2/10/2005
Optigen has a new DNA test for CEA/CH.
I decided to have Tigger tested thru Optigen because of his
previous CERF results. I am happy to announce that he is "normal"!
Meaning, that he is NOT affected nor is he a carrier for CEA/CH
ALL 3 Opthomologists MIS-diagnosed him and because of this, I
made the decision to neuter him. I will be contacting the vets
that made this diagnosis and will provide them with a copy of
the results from Optigen. I will not be going back to those
Opthomologists for any future CERF exams.
This is not an experience I want anyone to go thru. Dreams were
shattered! I still have a very wonderful companion and a great
ball catcher, but no future Tigger puppies! I am thankful for
all the advise and support I've received in 2003 when I rec'd
the dreadful results. I didn't rely on just 1 Opthomolgist, I
relied on 3 and ALL 3 were incorrect! I'm thankful for Optigen
for coming out with this new DNA test, I just wish it would have
been a couple years ago.
